SEWING EDUCATION & CREATING WAXED CANVAS UTILITY APRONS WITH SARAH,
OWNER OF ANNE B. DESIGNS
Students had the opportunity to use use patterns to cut our waxed canvas for a fit to size utility apron, using sewing machines to add pockets and finish seams. Using dye, students personalized leather straps and colored them to their liking. Students used leatherworking tools to add hardware, leather straps and holes to finish the aprons.
Food was provided by Even Stevens and beverages by Vive Juicery.
Students left class with a box of goods with items from local businesses City of Industry, Big Cartel and The Point Pilates such as patches, posters, free sauna sessions,
but most importantly, their fit to size, personalized utility aprons.
